I Love Lucy fans will adore this collectible doll of famed actress Lucille Ball in one of her most hilarious and popular roles ever--as Lucy Ricardo in the grape-stomping episode. For hard-core Lucy aficionados, it's episode 150: "Lucy's Italian Movie." In it, our red headed renegade loses the gang in order to "soak up some local color" in preparation for a possible Italian movie gig. As Ricky, Ethel, and Fred soon discover, Lucy gets in over her head again and ends up roughed up in a vat of squashed grapes. She doesn't get the movie part (Ethel does), but she does tickle the funny bones of American viewers."Lucy's Italian Movie" doll is approx. 11.5" tall and sports the same outfit and hairdo Lucy wore in the episode--a frilly peasant-style white blouse and a full-cut, purple skirt with a wide black belt. Her accessories--sized to scale (doll size)--are faithful, as well. You'll find flat slippers, large silver tone drop earrings (grapes on a vine), molded green & purple grapes in her right hand, a silver tone ring on her left hand, and a white, green & blue hair scarf (with a grape motif) holding her hair back. Collectors will be amazed by how the doll's fiery red hair, bright blue eyes, and perfect makeup accentuate its striking resemblance to the real Lucille Ball.
