Product Description
This Philippine Centennial doll celebrates the 100th year of the Philippines as a nation. Philippine Independence was declared on June 12, 1898 with the ratification of the Philippine Constitution the following year. This Centennial Barbie wears an iridescent white blouse with ballooning sleeves. The waist hem and the sleeve hems are all trimmed in lace. Beneath the blouse one sees the top of the dress, a solid deep brown, straight-cut, with a flare which begins near the knees. There is a scarf around Barbie's neck which matches the dress, with thin red ribbon trim and an edge embroidered in gold thread. Around her waist, Barbie wears an open red, green and yellow plaid wrap. A Centennial pin comes with the doll.
